Trinidad & Tobago Hospitality & Tourism Institute
Our library has informational materials to support the range of programmes offered by the Institute. Our comprehensive collection comprises 2,000 monographs and other materials in all subject areas. Journals, audiovisual tapes, CD Roms, videotapes, pamphlets, articles from newspapers, brochures, maps, reports and academic calendars also form part of our collection.
“Providing the information resources required to support the training needs for quality human resources for the Hospitality and Tourism Industry.”
The mission of the Office of the Librarian is to set policy and to direct and support programmes and activities to accomplish the Library’s mission. The Office of the Librarian has overall management responsibility for TTHTI’s Library.
Located in the upper level of our training center, the Hilltop Restaurant offers a relaxed and ambient atmosphere where you can unwind over a world class prepared and presented meal. It is a great place to enjoy lunch during the work week. Our restaurant is open to the public at varying intervals (see press or call our Office for periods and times of opening). The restaurant is staffed by our bright and warm students. Don’t take our word for it, come and enjoy the hospitality of our trainees over a memorable meal. During special occasions we advise patrons to make reservations.
We welcome students to our residential facilities. Our dormitories, (two on-campus halls of residence), are modest student accommodation (available to full time female students only) housing up to forty-nine (49) persons. These are offered firstly to international and regional students and students residing in Tobago. The facility is then offered to persons residing in the furthest locations in Trinidad. Accommodation is offered in single, double, triple and quadruple room configurations at varying rates and can be requested from the Student Services Department.
